OUR MISSION:
Evangelizing souls and transforming the culture
by promoting the Good, the True and the Beautiful
through the arts, thought and culture.
The Angelico Project is lighting a beacon of hope.
Angelico Presents
CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to the 12 Artists whose work has been selected for the
Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Bicentennial Holy Cards!
Thank you to all who submitted work for our Bicentennial Holy Card Design Competition. We received many beautiful entries for this competition and were delighted by the skill of so many participants and the beautiful works submitted. Our jurors, Father Jan Schmidt, Father Eric Roush and Arts Educator Caroline Hofmann, had a challenge in choosing only 12 finalists.
These 12 artworks will be printed as Holy Cards and distributed during the Bicentennial Pilgrimage.
Winning artists will be honored at a special dinner with Archbishop Schnurr at the Cathedral Basilica. All entries can be seen in a Virtual Art Show at angelicoproject.org from
May 1 through the Marian Pilgrimage, June 19.
The Angelico Project’s mission is to evangelize through Beauty. Artists – visual, performing and literary- are vital to the work of Christ and his Church! Living and working with the good, the true and the beautiful will transform our own lives of faith and our community…and the world.
We are honored by all who participated in this competition, and sincerely hope artists in our region and beyond will be challenged and inspired to engage in future contests and exhibition opportunities provided by The Angelico Project.
If you haven’t already, we hope you will consider becoming a member of the Angelico Catholic Arts Guild and sign up for The Angelico Project emails to stay updated on upcoming events.

There is no new initiative in Cincinnati that excites me more than the Angelico Project. What a gift to have a community of artists cultivating beauty and inviting others to experience the transformative power of the arts.
